Industrial mechanical brushing
The mechanical brush is a versatile and controlled technique for removing scale, dust, and surface films from industrial parts and equipment. Thanks to the engineering of our solutions, we adapt brushes of different shapes, materials, hardnesses, and rotation speeds to achieve the right friction that cleans without damaging the surface.
What is mechanical brushing?
It consists of applying rotary, linear, or orbital brushes on the contaminated surface.
The mechanical action disintegrates deposits of dust, light rust, burrs, and remains of previous processes, leaving the part ready for painting, welding, or inspection operations.
Custom brush engineering
We design brushes with metallic, abrasive, or technical polymer fibers (nylon, steel, PBT …) in different diameters and densities. We select the optimum hardness and rotation speed according to the material and degree of dirt, ensuring the necessary friction without compromising tolerances or finishes.
Advantages for
the industry
- Dry process: does not require water or chemicals, avoiding liquid waste.
- Adaptable to complex geometries through flexible or robotized heads.
- Removes surface dirt without cross-contamination.
- Reduces surface preparation times before painting or gluing.
- Low operating costs and easy preventive maintenance.
Other industrial uses
- Light rust stripping on steel profiles.
- Cleaning of metal mesh conveyor belts.
- Satin polishing of aluminum before anodizing.
- Opening of pore in wood for fire retardant treatment.
